Common questions

The things
everyone asks

If it isn't answered here, ring or send a message — you'll get a straight answer rather than a brochure.

How much does a typical garden transformation cost?
Our sweet spot is between £10,000 and £15,000 for a full rear garden — patio, lawn or artificial grass, fencing and lighting. Smaller packages start around £5,000 and larger projects run well beyond £25,000. Every completed job on our projects page carries the actual figure it came to, so you can judge for yourself before you ring.
How long does a project take?
Most driveways are four to six days. A full garden transformation is usually two to three weeks on site. We give you a start date and an end date in writing, and if the weather moves them we tell you the same day rather than the week after.
Do you charge for a quotation?
No. The visit, the design and the written quotation are free and there's no obligation. We'd rather spend an hour finding out we're not the right fit than have you commit to something you're unsure about.
Are you insured, and do you guarantee the work?
Yes to both. We carry full public liability cover and every installation comes with a written workmanship guarantee on top of the manufacturer warranties on the materials themselves.
How far do you travel?
About half an hour from St Helens — so Rainhill, Widnes, Warrington, Runcorn, Haydock, Prescot and the south side of Liverpool. Staying local keeps the team on site rather than sat in the van.
Can we pay in stages?
Yes. Most projects run on a deposit to secure materials and a schedule of stage payments as the work progresses, with the balance due on completion once you're happy with it.
