Gardeners in St Helens

From a regular lawn and hedge visit to a complete garden makeover — local gardeners and landscapers who have been looking after St Helens gardens since 2013.

Garden transformations

A garden you use,
not just look at

Most people who ring us have a garden that is not working — a lawn that never drains, a patio that has started to sink, fences that blow over every winter. We look at the whole space, draw up a design around how you want to use it, and build it in one go with our own team. No juggling three different trades, and no gaps between them.

Garden maintenance & tree work

Regular care,
or a one-off tidy

Not every garden needs rebuilding. Our gardeners take on maintenance across St Helens, from a single tidy-up to a regular visit, and look after the trees on your property too. Tell us what you need and we will tailor it to your garden.

  • Lawn mowing, edging and feeding
  • Hedge cutting and trimming
  • Weeding and digging borders
  • One-off garden tidy-ups
  • Patio cleaning
  • Tree pruning and general tree care

What a makeover includes

Everything,
from the ground up

Every garden is different, but most of our makeovers combine several of these — priced as one job and built as one programme.

Common questions

Your questions,
answered

If it isn't answered here, ring or send a message — you'll get a straight answer rather than a brochure.

Do you do regular garden maintenance?
Yes. We offer everything from a one-off tidy-up to regular maintenance visits — mowing, edging, hedge cutting, weeding, feeding the lawn and patio cleaning. Tell us what your garden needs and how often, and we will tailor it to you.
Do you look after trees as well?
Yes. We prune and maintain trees on your property, whether it is a one-off job or ongoing care, with the equipment to do it safely. If a tree needs specialist work we will tell you at the visit.
Can you sort out a lawn that is always waterlogged?
Yes — it is one of the most common reasons people call us. It is usually compacted clay with nowhere for the water to go. Depending on the garden we will either fix the drainage or replace the lawn with artificial grass on a free-draining base, so the space is usable all year.
How much does a garden makeover cost?
Most full rear gardens — patio, lawn or artificial grass, fencing and lighting — come in between £10,000 and £15,000. Smaller packages start around £5,000 and larger projects run well beyond £25,000. Every finished job on our projects page shows the actual figure it came to.
Do you design the garden as well?
Yes. We visit, measure up and talk through how you want to use the space, then come back with visuals and a fixed written price. The visit, the design and the quotation are all free, with no obligation.
How long does a garden transformation take?
Usually two to three weeks on site. We give you a start date and an end date in writing, and if the weather moves them we tell you the same day rather than the week after.
Which areas do you cover?
St Helens and about half an hour around it — Rainhill, Prescot, Eccleston, Billinge, Haydock, Newton-le-Willows, Widnes, Runcorn, Warrington and the south side of Liverpool.
Can we pay in stages?
Yes. Most projects run on a deposit to secure materials and a schedule of stage payments as the work progresses, with the balance due on completion once you are happy with it.
